1 How Your Data Is Used

Login Account

When you log in to this App with the Huawei Technical Support website account, this App needs to acquire your information from the Huawei Technical Support website, including your username, gender, email address, mobile phone number.

 

Fault Location

When an exception occurs during the use of the App and you select to send the error information to Huawei for fault analysis, Huawei may collect related information, including the App version, breakdown time, and breakdown stack information. To send error logs, choose My Space > Settings and enable Send abnormal log. (By default, this function is disabled.)

 

1.2 Collect and Use Non-personal Information

 

Non-personal information refers to data that cannot be used to identify a specific person, for example, device model, operating system version, App version, and content you viewed (documents, software, cases, and posts). The App collects non-personal information to understand how users use our App and services, which helps us optimize our products to meet users' requirements. This App may decide to collect, use, transfer, or disclose non-personal information for any reason.

 

2 How Your Data Is Updated, Changed, and Checked

The App shall use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of your personal information. Huawei will delete or modify information in accordance with your requests. You can contact us and submit your requests by sending emails to Supportmaster@huawei.com. Based on Huawei's terms and agreements, you can manage your personal information such as your account registration information.

3 How Your Data Is Protected

The App takes reasonable preventive measures, including but not limited to technical, physical, and institutional measures, to protect your personal information from unauthorized viewing, disclosure, abuse, change, damage, or loss. Technically, the App uses antivirus software scanning to ensure and enhance the attack defense of our services. Physically, the App features access control, which limits access only to the person who needs this type of information. Institutionally, security and privacy protection training are provided for Huawei employees to improve understanding of data protection. Although reasonable measures are taken to protect your personal information, no measure is invulnerable.

4 Data Transmission

The App may be provided by the terminals in different countries and regions throughout the world. Your personal data may be transmitted to other countries or regions, including countries or regions where no related law is available to provide specific protection for personal data, or countries or regions where data protection laws are different. In such cases, the App will take measures to ensure that data transmission complies with applicable laws and provide appropriate protection through the following methods: using standard protocols approved by related authorities (if necessary) or using other appropriate technical and organizational information security measures.
